The Madi Media CEO faced her Gamer Report tag team partner for the first time in a public match after the two competed in separate matches at 1FW earlier in the day.
After competing in a 1FW match against Ashley D'Amboise in McDonough, Georgia on Sunday September 27th, Madisyn Maxxwell traveled to Acworth, Georgia, where she ended up losing to Sofia Sivan. Sofia delivered a Michinoku Driver and a pin that Madisyn was unable to escape from.
Match Start
The match began with The Headline, Madisyn, entering the ring at Saddle Bar by yelling hello to the patrons and working them to wake up. As usual, her 321 Madi Entrance Song was playing in the background. She entered the ring with her blue blazer and Madi Media microphone. That was likely the last time that she would be seen with those two items, as a new blazer and microphone are expected to be unveiled at her next match.
Sofia entered the ring with her gaming controller and headphones, all matching her pink attire. Madisyn then sat on top of a corner turnbuckle with her Madi Tower weight. While waiting on top of the turnbuckle, Madi complained about Sofia having cheat codes. She then jumped down and the match started with a lockup. After two missed swing attempts, Madisyn stomped on Sofia's foot to break the lockup and punched her. The two then entered into another arm lockup in which Sofia regained control.
Sofia Recovers
Sofia recovered from Madisyn's early control of the match with a pickup of Madisyn and an arm lock. Madisyn then escaped after a missed stomp with a flip of Sofia. Sivan then countered with a cartwheel into a failed leg body scissors pin. Maxxwell then used a rope run to slam Sivan down. Sofia then avoided another rope run from Madisyn with a jump over her. Madisyn was then able to grab and hold Sofia from behind. Sofia then escaped and was able to knock Madi over with a leg roll up. Sofia grabbed Madisyn and lifted her; however, Madisyn was able to escape and pushed Sofia to the corner. In the corner, Sofia jumped up to the top turnbuckle as Madisyn was running to her and attempted a pinfall that also failed at a two count. Sofia then tripped Madi, picked her up, and slammed her to the ring floor. She then performed a cartwheel, drop-kicked Madisyn, and attempted a roll up pin.
Madisyn Takes Control
After the roll up pin attempt, Madisyn went for a This Just In Whirlwind Slap that missed. Sivan then pushed Madisyn to the corner where Sivan climbed the turnbuckles. Madisyn then grabbed her leg, which made her fall to the floor. Madisyn then kicked Sofia back to the ground and brought her over to the ropes for a rope choke and photo pose. The two ended up in another corner and Madisyn delivered a slap to the face of Sofia. Madi delivered two running thigh hits to the belly of Sofia at the two alternate turnbuckles. Sofia was then knocked on her back after Madisyn performed a reverse slam. A pin was attempted by Madisyn; however, it failed at a two count. Next, Madi brought out her microphone and began to taunt Sofia with some words. Madisyn then got Sofia into a corner and delivered two solid punches. Sofia caught the third attempted punch and turned Madisyn around and delivered several punches of her own. Madisyn ended up exiting the punch sequence by sliding out and pushing Sofia into the middle turnbuckle. Madisyn then got up and kicked Sofia right in the face at the turnbuckle. Madisyn then performed a jump and leg knockdown of Sofia, which resulted in another two count pin.
Sofia Gets Back Up
The match took a turn back to Sofia after Madisyn was upset with the ref's pin count. Sivan pushed back Madisyn and was then able to knock Madisyn to the ropes after a failed This Just In Whirlwind Slap. However, Madisyn countered with a leg spin kick. Sofia was ready after that hit and grabbed and slammed Madisyn to the mat. Both were stunned after this. Sofia then began a Game On Run with multiple fast clothline hits and a trip against Madisyn. Sivan kicked Madisyn squarely in the face and got her into a corner. At the corner turnbuckle, Sofia performed a GG leg drop to the chest of Madi. Madisyn was able to quickly regain control after a DDT; however, it resulted in another failed pin. Madi then went straight for Sofia; however, Sivan dodged the attempt. Sofia lifted Madisyn and reverse slammed (Samoan Drop) her into the floor, which resulted in a two count pin. Madisyn was then able to escape and tried for another pin. Sofia quickly got up from the pin, kicked Madisyn in the face, and then performed a Michinoku Driver followed by a winning three count pin.
Madisyn exited in pain after a long, eventful weekend in Georgia.
