After a day of changes at the Tampa Bay Comic Convention, Madisyn headlined the Main Event for Atomic Legacy Wrestling’s Match Card; however, she had to face former WWE Superstar Alicia Fox (Victoria Crawford/Vix Crow) and ALW Champion Teal Piper. 9/8/2026 Note: article updated with the full match overview.
This unexpected triple-threat, two-title match ended up being an ambush that resulted in Madi losing her UFW Championship Belt. It is expected that Madi will have a chance to reclaim the title at the next UFW event in November.
Start of the Day: Tampa Bay Comic Convention
This ALW/UFW crossover match took place at the Tampa Bay Comic Convention at the Tampa Convention Center, which is a major convention venue. As a result, Madisyn was a headline of the convention. The Madi Media team got to experience the convention, including seeing WWE Superstar John Cena.

Afternoon Title Match Announcement
At the start of the day, it was not clear who she would face or when the match would start. At the start of the first match slot of the day, Jason Dugan, owner of ALW, and his manager Danny (a big fan of Madisyn), announced that Madisyn had called in and requested a match, especially since she is from Tampa and better than ALW Hype Pro Champion Teal Piper and Victoria Crawford hasn’t been relevant in “like 20 years.”

Start of the Match
The match started out with Madisyn entering the ring first with her Madi 321 Entrance Song. Madisyn engaged with the audience and made sure that the cameras were pointing at her. Vix Crow (Victoria Crawford TNA/Alicia Fox WWE) then entered the ring, exchanged some high-fives with the audience, put up a peace sign to a Madi Media camera operator, and thanked the audience for attending. Last up, Teal Piper entered the ring with her Rowdy Club crew (Deimos and Kaci Lennox). After some in-ring banter, the ring announcer introduced everyone, and the match began after Madisyn Maxxwell exchanged some words with Teal.

Ring Exit
Madi then confronted Teal Piper right after the bell rang. Teal pushed Madisyn, who then exited the ring and allowed Teal and Vix Crow to engage in the first battle. Madisyn engaged in some ringside antics and tried to take the ALW title belt from Ro, one of ALW/Jason Dugan’s partners. After a back-and-forth between Vix and Teal that resulted in a failed pin of Teal by Vix, Madisyn reentered the ring and took on Vix.

Madisyn Maxxwell vs. Vix Crow
Madisyn rolled back into the ring, Teal exited, and, as a result, Madisyn and Vix engaged in a one-on-one battle. This included a round of rope-accelerated hits, which included a clothesline by Madisyn, and Vix athletically avoiding a number of rope runs by Madisyn. Vix was then able to grab Madisyn from behind and attempt a pin, which failed. Madisyn then was able to get Vix into a two-count pin. Of note, Deimos and Kaci Lennox, in heel fashion, were both blocking the view of fans during the Madisyn vs. Vix showdown.

Madisyn and Vix vs. Teal Piper
Teal reentered the ring and went straight after Vix and her eyes. Madisyn then went straight for Teal with a punch; however, Teal stopped it and headbutted Madi. Teal then threw Madisyn against the ropes and went straight for Madi. Madisyn countered with a spinning kick that pushed Teal back. Madi then went straight for Teal. Teal then grabbed and picked up Madisyn, spun her around, and threw her to the ground. This was a hard hit. Madisyn was able to escape a resulting pin attempt and exited the ring to regroup.

Teal Piper vs. Vix Crow
Teal then went straight after Vix. Madisyn reentered the ring; however, she was thrown out by Teal Piper. Teal then continued her attack on Vix, resulting in Vix screaming loudly. Luckily, that may have scared Deimos from the sidelines. Madisyn then engaged in the battle against Vix from the ring edge with a hit to Vix’s chest. Teal then kicked Madisyn, and Kaci Lennox proceeded to taunt Madi. Madisyn reentered the ring, went after Teal, and got her into a two-count pin. Teal then got Madi into a two-count pin, which resulted in Madisyn exiting the ring. Madisyn returned with her microphone, which Kaci Lennox grabbed and subsequently broke. Madisyn then yelled her out of the picture. Madi then entered the ring, went after Teal, and pulled her down to the ring floor. She then attempted a pin; however, Teal escaped. Madi subsequently complained to the referee that he was counting too slowly.

Match End - The Trap
Vix reengaged with Madisyn and clotheslined her twice, along with Teal Piper. This allowed Vix to briefly regain control of the match. Vix went after Madi, who was in the corner, and told her to “stay in that corner.” Vix then went after Teal in the other corner and got caught in a headlock. Madisyn jumped out of the corner and hit Teal from behind, knocking her and Vix to the ground. Madisyn went one-on-one with Teal, who picked up Madi, spun, and attempted a pin. Vix then hit Teal with a spin kick to the chin, which knocked her to the ground. Vix got up and pulled Madisyn up from her hair. Madisyn was ready and knocked out Vix with her signature Lightning This Just In Slap. It was now Teal vs. Madisyn. Madisyn went for another Lightning This Just In Slap; however, Teal Piper was ready for it and ducked below the swing. Teal then grabbed Madisyn and got her into a headlock/chokehold on the ground. Madisyn was unable to escape the trap and tapped out. Madisyn, stunned, rolled out of the ring, and Teal and The Rowdy Club took the title belt from Madi.

A disappointing title loss for Madisyn; however, it was an action-packed battle with Madisyn having numerous pin attempts. This was easily the best match of the night and the most entertaining. After the match, there were a number of fans waiting to meet Madisyn. It is probably because she stood out the most. In the CEO’s own words, “Duh!”
